Everyone should enjoy Halloween — all the frivolous fun. However, it can be expensive with all the candy, decorations and costumes. To help those a little short on their holiday budget, Frightmare Compound is celebrating 35 years of scaring people silly by giving away FREE costumes — sizes ranging from infant to adult.
On Saturday, October 20, the haunted attraction is giving away about 5,000 costumes starting at 9 a.m. They are located at 10798 Yukon St. in Westminster. The costumes are available first-come, first-served, so plan accordingly. You must be present to receive a costume, including children. Limit one costume per person. Remember, the giveaway is intended for those in need, so everyone in our community can “be a character” for a day and have little amusement.
