Sad to report that this will be the last shred event at this location. It might be a good idea to get ready for the winter by going through all those old storage boxes and file cabinets, gather all of your no-longer-needed important documents and get them safely shredded. The Broomfield DeMolay hosts a Shred-A-Thon on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon. at the former Eastern Star Masonic Retirement Community. The event is open to all, regardless of where you live.
You can bring old checks, bills, bank statements, credit card offers, medical records, tax forms, pay stubs, etc.
Do not bring newspapers, phone books, magazines, plastics, cardboard or catalogs.
The service is FREE. However, donations will gladly be accepted for Broomfield DeMolay, a non-profit youth group of young men ages 12-21.
Note: Due to a fire that severely damaged the Retirement Campus, the facility is permanently closed and will eventually be sold. A hearty thanks from MHOTC and the entire Denver community to Eastern Star for hosting so many events over the years.
2445 S. Quebec St., Denver.
