Take a trip to an island (which happens in be fittingly in “Lakewood”), when Red Rocks Community College and the North Dakota Shakespeare Festival team up for a FREE production of “The Tempest.” Equal parts comedy and drama, the play exudes romance and magic. There are four performances on Thursday to Saturday, July 20 to 22, 2023, with shows at 7 p.m. each night and an additional show at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
This production will feature professional actors alongside college students, in a traditional Shakespeare in the Park setting.
The show is performed at the Red Rocks Community College Outdoor Pavilion, which has a huge lawn space with room for groups of all sizes.
Bring your own blanket and chairs.
And, never fear if the weather stirs up a tempest, the play is moved indoors to the RRCC Theatre.
