Where To Find Free Food Pantries & Distribution Sites In The Denver/Boulder Area

POSTED BY
Laura

Organizations in Denver, Boulder and other Colorado communities offer free food pantries for individuals and families needing help stretching their grocery dollar. Some sites allow you to “shop” the pantry on specific days, others provide drive-through pickups, while still others offer deliveries to your home for eligible participants.

This list should help you find convenient distribution sites. As always, things can change so it’s smart to verify by phone, social media or the organization’s website if a pantry or event is on the day you’re interested in.

One of the best resources is Feeding America. The site maintains a list of food distribution center and food pantries. Go to Find Your Local Food Bank for a site close to your home or work.

You can also call 3-1-1 or check their website for info on community resources offering food assistance.

Here’s a list of food pantries in and around Denver/Boulder. If you know of any corrections or additions, please email info@milehighonthecheap.com and put “Food Pantry” in the subject line.
