Free Broncos Solar Eclipse Glasses at Grease Monkey

POSTED BY
Bryan

Even though we live in Broncos Country, the sun’s rays won’t be orange all day on Monday, August 21 because of a total solar eclipse at 11:47 a.m. For just a few minutes, the moon will pass between Earth and the sun, completely blocking the sun’s light and bringing temporary darkness. (Unfortunately, Denver won’t witness 100% coverage of the sun.)

Before you look up, you must protect your eyes and wear special solar eclipse glasses. (A regular pair of sunglasses won’t cut it. And never ever look directly at the sun without proper protection.) You need NASA-approved and ISO-certified glasses.

Show your orange & blue pride and pick up a pair of FREE Broncos-themed solar eclipse glasses at Grease Monkey, thanks to 9NEWS. Limit one pair per person, while supplies last. (They’re giving away 250,000 pairs!) Also, get a FREE pack of Broncos collector cards. There are 55 locations across the Front Range — click here.

If you don’t get a pair at Grease Monkey, there are a few more options to get FREE glasses around town — click here.

There is a huge demand for glasses, so, to avoid frustration, call ahead for availability — wherever you go to pick up a pair. Get your glasses and review “Where to See The Total Solar Eclipse on August 21.”
