Those who value unique hand-made items for themselves or as gifts head for the Firefly Handmade Summer Market and its 100 or so local artisans. It takes place Saturday & Sunday, August 28 & 29 on South Gaylord Street at Wash Park. Firefly Handmade is the Front Range’s premier marketplace for exclusively handmade artisan goods.
The park is a delightful setting with free parking nearby. In addition to shopping the artisan booths, enjoy live music from Daniella Katzir, Bryce Menchaca and The Dollhouse Thieves.South a photo booth (Sunday only) and an outdoor bar with cocktails, beer and wine.
Each market is creatively curated to feature returning and emerging artisans with home goods & dĂ©cor; jewelry & accessories; adult & children’s fashion; skin care; ceramics; art; artisanal food; paper goods; and more.
Hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is FREE.
