The Family Dollar store at 7150 Leetsdale Dr., Unit 18 (Leetsdale & Quebec) in Denver is closing. Closeout sales are one of the best ways to find lots of great deals on many popular items — all in one spot. According to a store employee, the store will be open until June 20, 2026, or when there is no more merchandise in the store — so likely the store will close well before that date.

A MHOTC reader reports the store is about 40 to 50% full with merchandise. Most items are discounted, but some such as soda or chips, not at all.
Employees tell us, the store was not able to sign a new lease with the property manager and the property manager did not want to renew the lease.
Additional higher priced merchandise may be brought in to sell, but the current merchandise is from this store.

As of now, the entire store is discounted at 20 to 40% off. The sale excludes tobacco, alcohol and gift cards.
It’s important to note that all sales are final. No returns or exchanges allowed.
The key is to keep checking the discount level every few days, so you know when it’s time to go on a shopping spree.
(Thanks to Jacqueline for alerting us to this closure.)
