Free Car Show at Fairmount Cemetery On August 16

POSTED BY
Laura

Classic Car autoMany of us think of cemeteries as sad places, but, in reality, most are beautiful park-like spaces ideal for all sorts of joyous community gatherings. Denver’s historic Fairmount Cemetery hosts a Car Show on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All types of vehicles are welcome, so feel free to bring your “ride” and show it off.

The first 300 cars to arrive will receive a FREE license plate.

Three free “mini” history tours of the cemetery are offered at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tours begin at the Ivy Chapel and are limited to 25 people.

Food trucks will be on hand selling eats or you may bring your own food.

Music is by Maverick Mike.

Tickets are NOT required. Just show up for a good time.

430 S. Quebec St., Denver, 303-399-3692.
