Woo-hoo, here’s a way to cool down during the hot summer months that won’t cost you a penny. Four outdoor pools, operated by Aurora Parks & Recreation, are FREE every Friday. Free Fridays are for everyone, not just the kiddos. This includes Aqua Vista, Parklane, Pheasant Run and Village Green. (Meadow Hills and Del Mar Water Park are excluded.)
Each outdoor pool offers swim lessons, as well as public swim hours. Find a facility map here for pool locations. (Note: Outdoor pools will not open, if the forecast temperature is below 70 degrees.)
