The chain is known for its longtime support of teachers across the country through various initiatives and campaigns.

From May 9 to 16, every teacher, faculty or staff at a K-12 or degree-granting university in America can enjoy a FREE cheeseburger with any purchase at participating locations. The offer is valid for one-time use.
To get the offer, qualifying customers must enroll in the Sonic Teachers’ Circle — a rewards program exclusively available for educators through the Sonic app. Look for “I’m a teacher” under Account Settings on the app for registration.
Combine the juicy offer with the chain’s Happy Hour half-price drinks and slushes for even bigger savings. The bargain beverages are always available via the Sonic app. Otherwise, they’re only available from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in-restaurant.
