See strong men and women in kilts toss telephone poles (cabers), hurl large stones, fling heavy sacks for height with pitchforks and more! The whole family will enjoy the Scottish-Irish Highland Games (aka Leprechaun Games) at the Boulder County Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is FREE, with the wearing of kilts and the color green strongly encouraged.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the St. Baldrick’s Foundation whose mission is to advance research into cures for childhood cancer.
Athletics will go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Spectators can come and go as they please, as there will be multiple groups and events taking place simultaneously.
The majority of this event will be held indoors at the Boulder County Fairgrounds Indoor Arena. Hammer and Sheaf will be done outdoors.
Stations for donations and head shaving in support of St. Baldrick’s Foundation will be available on-site.
