Save Bonus $20 at Safeway

POSTED BY
Bryan

Get your shopping list ready, bargain hunters! Any opportunity to save big bucks at the grocery checkout is a big deal (literally) for smart shoppers. It’s the best time to stretch your grocery budget by stocking up on sale items and/or household staples. And, this weekend, Safeway is making it easier to fill your cart with even more savings.

From June 18 to 20, get $20 off your grocery purchase of $100 or more. (If you purchase the minimum, it’s an additional savings of 20%.) The discount is only valid within a single transaction. (Regular exclusions apply, including gift cards, stamps, liquor, tobacco, bus passes, lottery tickets, etc. — see store for more details.)

The offer requires a digital coupon that must be downloaded to your Safeway Club Card.

Best of all, the discount is applied after all of other savings have been deducted from your bill, including sale prices and coupons (digital, store and manufacturer.) That means the bonus savings is stacked on top of all the other discounts available — a win-win for bargain shoppers.

Be sure your subtotal is $100 before taxes. Otherwise, the discount will not be applied. If you’re trying to keep your bill to the minimum ($100), consider using a calculator to keep track of your spending as you’re shopping.
