All aboard! The Rocky Mountain Train Show steams into Denver on Saturday & Sunday, April 5 & 6, 2025, at the National Western Complex. This is the largest model train show west of the Mississippi River. Make it a day or a weekend of family fun with nearly three acres of model, toy trains and more than 30 operating train layouts, including three large LEGO displays and a free Thomas the Tank train ride.

This is a great show for the young and the young at heart, whether you are just getting started in the hobby or a long time scale modeler.
See classic and modern trains from American Flyer, Athearn, Atlas, Bachmann, Blackstone, Broadway Limited, Kato, LGB, Lionel, Marx, MTH, North American Railcar, Rapido and Walthers.
Hobbyists will enjoy workshops and clinics, and more than 600 vendors selling trains, books, paints, scenery material and everything you might need to set up your pwn spectacular model train.
Kids can participate in FREE numerous hands-on activities including the Junior Engineer Program, Hands-On Layouts, Railroad Story Time, Kid-In-A-Cab, Tram Town and a Build-A-Layout project.
The show is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission is $15 (including all taxes and fees). Kids under the age of 13, BSA Scouts and Girl Scouts in uniform receive FREE admission. Tickets may be purchased online here and there are discounts for multiple ticket purchases.
Tickets also include FREE parking.
