All aboard! The Rocky Mountain Train Show steams into Denver on Saturday & Sunday, April 11 & 12, 2026, at the National Western Complex. This is the largest model train show west of the Mississippi River. Make it a day or a weekend of family fun with nearly three acres of models, toy trains and 20+ massive operating train layouts, including large interactive LEGO displays.

This is a great show for the young and the young at heart, whether you are just getting started in the hobby or a long time scale modeler.
See classic and modern trains from American Flyer, Athearn, Atlas, Bachmann, Blackstone, Broadway Limited, Kato, LGB, Lionel, Marx, MTH, North American Railcar, Rapido and Walthers.
Hobbyists will enjoy workshops and clinics, and more than 600 vendors selling trains, books, paints, scenery material and everything you might need to set up your own spectacular model train.

Kids can enjoy FREE activities including face painting, LEGO trains and fun door prizes.
The show is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission is $16 (including all taxes and fees). Kids age 12 and younger, BSA Scouts and Girl Scouts in uniform receive FREE admission.
Tickets may be purchased online here and there are discounts for multiple ticket purchases.
Tickets also include FREE parking.
Adult tickets may be purchased at the following locations in advance for just $13.
