Electric Car Rise & Ride Event

POSTED BY
Laura

With so much interest in electric cars, any chance to give one a try is welcome. Women Who Charge hosts Rise and Ride Electric on Saturday, October 2 in Five Points. This is a FREE ride and drive event from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. for electric vehicles, e-bikes and scooters. Participants can enjoy FREE coffee and donuts, as well as information about electric CarShare programs, electric car rides and prizes.

Here’s what planned:

  • Enter to win free prizes to some of our favorite local businesses
  • Take a free ride in one of the many electric cars currently available in Colorado
  • Get CarShare discounts!
  • Ask basic questions about insuring electric vehicles and charging them
  • Explore other climate friendly transportation options

Women Who Charge is committed to making the adoption of electric cars easier. This community event is designed to introduce residents to a variety of electric transportation options. Bring your questions.

The event is on Tremont Pl., between 29th St and 26th St. (in front of CarShare Station). The GPS address is 2855 Tremont Pl., Denver.

Women Who Charge is a Colorado nonprofit whose mission is to advocate and support global sustainability efforts by encouraging the growth of the electric vehicle industry through community trainings, information sharing on equity solutions and encouraging the promotion of women innovators the electric vehicle and charging industry.
