All aboard, bored kids! On a hot summer day, there’s nothing better than a morning at the movies to keep the family entertained…and all in an air-conditioned theater. Regal Cinemas has scheduled 16 weeks of family-friendly flicks at select theaters for its popular (and budget-friendly!) Summer Movie Express.

During the summer film series, selected G- or PG-rated movies show every Tuesday and Wednesday — first show of the day. Showtimes vary by location.
The series starts May 24 at most participating locations. However, start dates vary by theater.
Tickets are just $2 each.

Week 2: May 31 and June 1 – Penguins of Madagascar and The LEGO Movie
Week 3: June 7 and 8 – Dr. Suess’ The Lorax and The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part
Week 4: June 14 and 15 – Abominable and The LEGO Batman Movie
Week 5: June 21 and 22 – Despicable Me and Pokémon Detective Pikachu
Week 6: June 28 and 29 – Despicable Me 2 and Space Jam
Week 7: July 5 and 6 – Sing and Puss in Boots
Week 8: July 12 and 13 – Sing 2 and Space Jam: A New Legacy
Week 9: July 19 and 20 – Despicable Me 3 and Tom & Jerry
Week 10: July 26 and 27 – Minions and Trolls World Tour
Week 11: August 2 and 3 – The Croods: A New Age and The Boss Baby: Family Business
Week 12: August 9 and 10– Trolls and How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
Week 13: August 16 and 17 – The Secret Life of Pets and Scoob!
Week 14: August 23 and 24 – The Secret Life of Pets 2 and Hop
Week 15: August 30 and 31 – Dr. Suess’ The Grinch and Shrek
Week 16: September 6 and 7 – Small Foot and Shrek Forever After
Each week, both movies play on both days. Seating is limited.
