Kick back and unwind with some live local music at the Mavens of Music series at Dairy Block on Thursday evenings this winter. Held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in The Maven lobby, this FREE weekly series features a variety of Colorado-based musicians. The series continues through the winter months.

February 29: Nico Martinez – Drawing inspiration from his Colombian roots, Martinez has developed a unique sound that fuses the rhythms of multiple genres of music, combining eclectic notes from Jazz, Flamenco, Reggaeton, Spanish rock, Caribbean & American classics.
March 7: Zea Stallings – Denver-based lead singer of “The Copper Children,” Stallings is a talented songwriter, vocalist and guitarist.
March 14: DZIRAE GOLD – Denver-based soul group fronted by Dzirae Gold that combines modern Memphis Soul style with classic jazz and is known for its sultry vocals and passionate instrumentals
March 21: David Lawrence – Finger-picking Delta blues and roots-Americana blended with soulful vocals and Gypsy-infused jazz guitar
