While it may not be quite Halloween, everyone deserves an early treat on a fun fall afternoon. That’s the thinking of Northfield Stapleton, which hosts a FREE Candy Crawl on Saturday, October 12 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Street. The family-friendly event promise candy, hay rides, crafts, contests, entertainment (a face painter, fire dancer, “Thriller” dancers, face painting) and more.
Make a paint your pumpkin craft. Enter the photo costume contest and enjoy Ghostbusters with Ecto 1, a haunted hearse, trunk-or-treat by AutoWash and other exhibits. Plus, mingle with DPD District 5 officers and Denver Station #39 fire fighters.
Organizers request that you tone down the horror-factor, as the event is designed for kids. Masks are not permitted!
Candy will be distributed from participating retailers — just look for the orange balloons, while supplies last.
