Happy Colorado Day! There are so many ways to celebrate the historical day on August 1 in our beautiful state. However, one of the best spots might be Colorado’s Home also known as the The Governor’s Residence. Coloradoans are welcome to spend the day at the mansion to enjoy the festivities planned to honor our state’s most important holiday!
Plan now to visit Colorado’s Boettcher Mansion on 8th and Logan Street in Downtown Denver from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, August 1.
The Governor’s Residence will be open for FREE tours. Before or after a tour, visitors can enjoy the gardens by ordering lunch from a food truck, visiting vendor booths, going on a neighborhood scavenger hunt and meeting a surprise local celebrity or two.
The first 100 visitors to take the tour will be entered to win a foursome at Colorado National Golf Club, a championship course just 20 minutes north of Denver.
The Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund is an inclusive, non-partisan nonprofit dedicated to education and preserving the historic Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion in perpetuity for the people of Colorado to enjoy. The organization raises money for the upkeep of this historic home, but also to offer FREE educational programs all year long.
