It may be the one time Front Range residents want the wind to blow. The annual Arvada Kite Festival is set for Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Stenger Soccer Complex at 58th Ave. & Quail St. The high-flying event thrills all age groups with the artistry of kite flying and friendly competition, along with musical entertainment, food trucks, demos by Rocky Mountain Kite Association, 100+ vendors, face painting, inflatables and more.

The Denver Museum of Nature and Science’s Curiosity Cruiser will be on hand and there will be a Nurf Terf Zone.
Bring your own kite or buy one at the event.
Bring your chairs or blankets and plan on staying the day. BBQ grills are not allowed at this event.
By the way, no dogs are allowed either — just too much commotion and kids running around.
Admission is FREE.
Gates open at 10:45 a.m. Parking is first-come, first-served.
Those who ride a bike can use the FREE Bike Valet courtesy Bike Friendly Arvada.
