We know the Central Park neighborhood is home to a number of gems, but a farm… a real farm with live animals? That’s a surprise. See for yourself when The Urban Farm opens its doors to all for FREE on Saturday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The farm will be open to the public for FREE self-guided tours (tours are usually $5 per person, so you save right from the start). Walk the grounds and see farm friends and their spring babies including chickens and bunnies.
You can check out the Aeroponic towers and the Aquaponics system with its fancy goldfish. Or, play in the children’s garden. There are playhouses, a tractor, and tire swings.
There will also be ways to learn about sustainable practices such as backyard poultry care, healthy living, and pet care.
