Flick-or-Treat in Lakewood

POSTED BY
Laura

Join in a spook-tacular Halloween celebration for everyone. Flick-or-Treat offers fun on Saturday, October 30. from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Festivities start with trick-or-treating through the historic buildings of Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park. Then grown-ups can let go at a costume party at The Beer Garden. Finally, catch a special Halloween feature under the moonlight at the amphitheater. The scariest thing to happen on Halloween is to run out of candy, so help organizers plan by reserving in advance. Reservations open on September 30. Admission is FREE, though organizers suggest a $5 donation with reservation.

Here’s the Flick-or-Treat 2021 Schedule:

Trick-or-Treating | 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
There will be 20 different stops throughout Heritage Lakewood so that the kiddos can trick-or-treat in a safe, community environment. They will be handing out individually wrapped and sealed candy at all stations.

Adaptive & Inclusive Trick-or-Treating | 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Featuring a paved surface, fewer participants, and sensorimotor adaptations

BOOsy Costume Party | 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Beer Garden presented by Foothills Credit Union will be serving up tasty harvest ales from  Lakewood Breweries. Pull out those costumes and come together for a ghostly celebration.

Hocus Pocus | 7 p.m.
Cozy up under the moon for this Halloween classic!

The park is at 801 S. Yarrow St., Lakewood.
