Here’s a way to “jazz” up the first Friday of every month. Local jazz musicians will take to the stage at multiple venues along Welton Street in Denver’s historic jazz district during First Friday Jazz Hop in Five Points. The organizers hope to keep jazz and culture alive, by encouraging music fans to immerse themselves in the rhythm, culture, and energy of Five Points.
All shows are FREE and open to the public.
The music typically starts at 5 p.m. and then continues well into the evening. You can move from venue to venue to take in multiple performances.
Performance are every first Friday except in July, when the Jazz Hop is July 11 (because the first Friday is 4th of July).
Date in 2025 are: May 2, June 6, July 11, August 1, September 5, October 3, November 7, and December 5.
