On of the largest bell towers in the country is located on the University of Denver campus. On Sunday, September 7, 2025, listen to Resident Carillonist Joey Brink play the Williams Carillon from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Brink performs music by Frederic Chopin, Scott Joplin, Elton John, and everything in between. The concert is FREE, open to all and held regardless of weather. And how cool is this? Tours of the tower will be available for FREE after the performance.

Just be prepared to climb 95 steps up a spiral staircase. It’s worth it for the amazing view of Denver!
A carillon is a musical instrument with bronze bells hung in a tower. Carillons are played by using a keyboard called a clavier. It’s similar to a piano keyboard, but uses levers and wires to strike the bells with clappers.
The Williams Carillon has 65 bells.
Because the audience gathers on the Ritchie Center Lawn below the tower, bring a lawn chair, picnic or even your pet.
Check the weather forecast and dress appropriately.
Free parking is available on High Street and hourly paid parking is in the Cable Center parking lot.
2240 S. Buchtel Blvd., Denver.
