The Cultural Caravan is one of Boulder’s most dynamic and collaborative organizations. The group presents top-level artists from a broad range of genres and backgrounds at a variety of venues. FREE Cultural Caravan MainStage performances will provide the Boulder community access to diverse musical programs performed by artists spanning all genres, from Venezuelan Jazz to Bluegrass to Zimbabwean Afropop.
Here’s what’s on the 2023 schedule:
Gonzalo Teppa brings together an all-star cast for a celebration of their shared Venezuelan roots.
Josh Halpern brings his trio to Boulder for a program telling a story of the lives lost to the violence of war. Framed by works by Maurice Ravel, this concert will showcase compositions by composers such as William Baines, Albéric Magnard, and Georges Antoine––whose unique musical voices were silenced by World War I.
Hazel Miller sings the jazz standards that inspired her to become a singer in the first place. This is music that Hazel never gets to sing, so don’t miss this opportunity to hear one of Colorado’s favorite performing artists sing the story of her love affair with jazz.
