Here are your options:

The Molly Brown House Museum (1340 Pennsylvania St.) is open for FREE self-guided tours from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On a first come, first serve basis, all guests will get to see the summer exhibit, The World Is Changing: Margaret at the World’s Fair, as well as visit three floors of Mrs. Brown’s home.

History Colorado (1200 Broadway) will be FREE on Colorado Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Arts and crafts, live music, snacks and alpacas are just the tip of the snow cone at this carnivalesque gathering fit for an entire state. Bring your friends and family because it’s time to party!

The Colorado State Capitol building (200 E Colfax Ave) is FREE and open to the public from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering tours (including a trip up to the dome) from 9:30 am to 3:00 p.m. on Colorado Day. Additional festivities, including themed presentations, a book signing with local authors, baked goods to sample, and much more, will be offered from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
