Colorado Chautauqua has reconstructed the historic 1899 Chautauqua Café are it is ready for its public debut. A Grand Opening is set for Sunday, July 3, 2022, from noon to 2 p.m. Festivities include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, musical entertainment by the Mile High Brass Band, games for the kiddos and FREE ice cream for those 12 and younger.
The cafe’s tented seating area has prime views of the Foothills and should be a wonderful place to enjoy ice cream, coffee, salads and sandwiches from the Chautauqua General Store.
The ribbon cutting starts promptly at noon, with the music, games and treats to follow about 15 minutes later. The public is invited to check out the cafe and it will be open year-round.
