A Celebration of African Cultures – Food, Performances and Activities

POSTED BY
Laura

The Town Center at Aurora (which to us will always be the “Aurora Mall”) is open for business and welcoming shoppers. The Center is also playing host to a series of monthly festivals. A Celebration of Cultures is planned every second Saturday of the month from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Next up is A Celebration of African Cultures, today, Saturday, February 27.

Aurora is the most diverse city in Colorado. Each festival is designed to celebrate and learn about some of the different regions that make up the community. Each FREE event will feature food, performances, kids activities, educational resources, and more.

This event will be held in Center Court on the lower level between Macy’s and Dillard’s.

Register for your 60-minute time slot by visiting this site and choose between the following times:

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

A maximum of 40 guests allowed at a time. First come first serve. Participants must register via the link to enter the event.

Participants in this event will be required to follow the Tri-County Health Department local guidelines. Town Center At Aurora will be following all Tri-County Health Department local indoor event guidelines to keep guests safe.

Please note that masks are required at this event and there will be ample space for appropriate social distancing.
