Denver gets a full-blown Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Festival on Saturday October 24, 2026. Civic Center Park is site of the FREE family-friendly festival from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., with live music and dance, food, art installations, artisan vendors, games, community altars, a procession and more.
Civic Center Conservancy supports the vision of local curator, community builder, and founder of Manos Sagrados, Alicia “Bruce” Trujillo, who is serving as Artistic and Cultural Director.
Under the direction of Manos Sagrados’ team, Colorful Colorado Collaborations and Kalpulli Calli Tecpatl will collaborate on this event to bring a unique and memorable celebration of life and transition, that includes community altars, art installations, music and dance, a tianguis/marketplace, Mexican & Latin American food trucks, family-friendly activities, and a sunset procession around a centered, community ofrenda.
All attendees are invited to bring a photocopy of a departed loved one or a written note to them as an offering to help build the Community Ofrenda.
The Park is at Colfax & Broadway.
