Denver gets a full-blown Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Festival on Saturday October 25, 2025. Civic Center Park is site of the FREE family-friendly festival from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., with live music and dance, food, art installations, artisan vendors, games, community altars, a procession and more.

The festival at Civic Center Park will have food trucks, live music, Artisan & Craft Marketplace, traditional poetry and storytelling, massive marigold installations, an art exhibit and more.
This year’s Día de los Muertos at Civic Center will bring a range of entertainment that celebrates and highlights Mexico. Performers include: ArtisiCO Dance, Leyenda Original, Kalpulli Mikakuika and iCALLi.
A Community Ofrenda will be set up in the heart of the park, in the center of the promenade. All attendees are invited to bring a photocopy of a departed loved one or a written note to them as an offering to help build the Community Ofrenda.
Art Installations created by the D3 Arts Community will create moments of reflection. D3 Arts’ work has become the backdrop to many events around Denver, so you will want to see their installations in the center of the Park and at the back of the stage at The Greek Theater.
This year’s installations will evoke a Oaxacan cemetery and the unique tradition from the region of Mexico.
The Park is at Colfax & Broadway.
