The Denver Firefighters Museum offers FREE entry (a rarity) to all on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Museum galleries showcase firefighting paraphernalia, fire alarm technology over the years, firefighter training, historic photographs and much more. Many exhibits have hands-on components. This Free Day is in celebration of Denver First Responders Day.
The Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Meet your local first responders like Denver Fire, Denver Police, and Denver 9-1-1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Explore 160 years of Denver Fire Department history and kids can make their own first responder badge (from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) to take home.
The museum is open for free admission from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Parking: The Museum does not have parking. The best option is metered street parking. There are meters on both sides of the street throughout the immediate area that cost $1 per hour with a 2 hour limit or one of the pay parking lots within walking distance.
