Free Entry to Denver Botanic Gardens During Spring Plant Sale

The always-anticipated annual spring plant sale at the Denver Botanic Gardens is Friday & Saturday, May 12 & 13, 2023. In addition to 15 plant divisions (herbs, vegetables, hanging baskets, seeds, container gardens, water-smart plants, etc.), the sale includes gardening supplies and garden gifts. Overall, tens of thousands of plants are offered.

Plants will be available in the following categories: Annuals, Aquatics, Container Garden in a Bag, Fruits & Berries, Grown at the Gardens, Herbs, Houseplants, Perennial Classics, Plant Select, Rock Alpine, Roses, Specialty Succulents, Summer Bulbs, Vegetables and Water-Smart.

The Gardens’ renowned horticulturists are on hand to answer questions about the best plants for your own garden.

Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own wagons and carts or even recycled boxes to transport plants.

The sale runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Arrive early for the best selection.

Admission is FREE, but reservations are required and will be available starting April 7 for members, April 10 for the general public. Make your reservations here.

Credit/debit cards and checks will be the only accepted forms of payment at the sale. 

Members receive 10% off all purchases.
