Denver gets a world-class BBQ event with the 3rd annual Denver BBQ Festival, Friday to Sunday, September 17 to 19 at Empower Field at Mile High. The festival brings together legendary pitmasters from Denver and around the country to serve award-winning barbecue, along with live music, beer, cold drinks, BBQ tutorials and demonstrations.
Admission is FREE. Attendees can listen to music and purchase BBQ from some of the most iconic pitmasters and restaurants.
BBQ and beverages will be available to purchase and there should be plenty to go around. Organizers expect to smoke more than 18,000 pounds of meat!
Event hours are Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
