Denver gets a world-class BBQ event with the inauguration of the Denver BBQ Festival, Friday to Sunday, June 14 to 16 at Broncos Stadium at Mile High. The festival brings together legendary pitmasters from Denver and around the country to serve award-winning barbecue, along with live music, beer, cold drinks, BBQ tutorials and demonstrations.
Admission is FREE. Attendees can listen to music and purchase BBQ from some of the most iconic pitmasters and restaurants.
Ticketed all-you-can-eat Pit Passes ($95 for adults, includes VIP lounge, no lines, open bar, private restrooms) are available here.
BBQ and beverages will be available to purchase and there should be plenty to go around. Organizers expect to smoke more than 18,000 pounds of meat!
Event hours are Friday from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
