You know you’re an icon, when you can go by just one name! No diva demands here, just a love of music and pop culture. The Denver Art Museum is rolling out the red carpet this fall for its latest exhibit, “DIVA” — from October 4, 2026 to January 31, 2027. The Mile High City is the exclusive U.S. venue for the highly anticipated exhibition organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

From DAM: “DIVA celebrates the radical power, creativity, and cultural impact of nearly 100 iconic performers, from 19th and 20th century divas like Josephine Baker, Sarah Bernhardt, and Maria Callas to modern-day powerhouses like Cher, Aretha Franklin, Lady Gaga, Dolly Parton, Prince, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and more.
“Prepare for a jaw-dropping journey featuring about 250 objects and show-stopping costumes worn by legends—including pieces from Marilyn Monroe to a stunning look from one of Rihanna’s Met Gala appearances. It’s a dazzling exploration of how these stars use fashion and performance to not just entertain, but to demand visibility and ignite social change.”

General Public Tickets
The exhibit requires a ticket — with tickets going on sale to the general public on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
Adult tickets start at $29 — with youth 18 and younger for $5.
This is a timed-ticket exhibition with timeslots available every 10 minutes with final entry at 4 p.m. every day, except on Tuesday with final entry at 7 p.m.
Visitors will not be admitted into the exhibition prior to the time on their ticket. To ensure timely entry for all, arrive on time or no later than 15 minutes after your scheduled time.
The exhibit is expected to be extremely popular — with many time slots selling out.
Smaller crowds are anticipated during the following times:
Wednesday
Tuesday Evenings (when the museum is open until 8 p.m.)
Weekday Afternoons

DAM Members get “DIVA” tickets for only $7.
Plus, tickets are available early for DAM members:
August 15 for The Museum Associates and Patrons
August 16 the Contributing Level and above
August 17 for All Remaining Members
An Individual Level membership is just $65 annually or Dual Level for $95. Always do the math first to determine if it’s a smart move financially for you and/or your family to become members — especially if you love going to the Denver Art Museum often.
Given the significant ticket discount for the “DIVA” exhibit, it might be wise to spend a few more dollars to access all the benefits a membership has to offer.
What do my tickets include?
The ticket allows access to the entire museum — except on Wednesday when only levels 1 and 2 of the Hamilton Building are open.
A ticket also includes a headset that provides musical accompaniment to the exhibition.
The exhibition is filled with nearly 250 objects, including 58 costumes from world-famous divas and artists. The Museum recommends planning to spend about 90 minutes to fully experience the exhibition.
Attendees are allowed to take pictures and video for personal use — as long as they’re considerate of other visitors.
