The Denver Extension Master Gardener program holds its Spring Plant Sale on Saturday & Sunday, May 18 & 19. You’ll find heirloom and modern tomatoes, sweet and hot (New Mexico) chilies, vegetables and herbs, colorful annuals and perennials. Gently-used gardening containers, tools and books will be on sale, too – all at near wholesale prices. Colorado Master Gardener volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and help you choose plants.
Open: Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or when sold out. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted. The sale is held rain or shine at Denver’s Harvard Gulch Park, 888 E. Iliff Ave. (between Broadway & Downing, 2 blocks south of Evans), Denver. For more information, call 720-913-5270.
