Costco Warehouse has to be one of our favorite stores to stock up on household supplies, especially paper goods, bulk groceries and the like. Also, its prices on gasoline are among the lowest in town. Through March 13, 2026, you can get a one-year Costco Gold Star membership for $65.
True, you walk into any Costco and buy a basic membership for $65, but this exclusive Groupon deal comes with a bonus: a FREE $20 Costco Shop Card (it’s like a gift card) that you can use towards almost any purchase.
The deal is good for new members only.
Your membership includes a card for the primary cardholder and one additional Household Card for anyone living at the same address, over the age of 18.
Here’s how it works:
Check your email for a confirmation email from Groupon, which will include your Costco membership number.
To receive your physical membership card, bring a photo ID with a copy of your Groupon confirmation email to your local Costco location.
The promotional Digital Costco Shop Card will be emailed separately within 2 weeks after sign-up. It will be emailed to the email address provided by the member at time of sign-up.
The $20 Digital Costco Shop Card is not accepted at the Food Court.
If you sign up for Executive Membership, you get a $40 Shop Card. Executive Members also earn an annual 2% reward (up to $1,250) on qualified Costco and Costco Travel purchases, along with extra savings on select Costco services. Plus, you can enter and shop the store one hour early (to beat the crowds).
