Families are invited to join in creative play during Family Music Creation. This fun, FREE event featuring The Playground Ensemble is set for Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m, at Stanley Marketplace in Aurora. Kids can make a kazoo, create music, be a conductor and create your own “beats”. No reservations are necessary.
During the event:
Make your own kazoos – we’ll have supplies and show you how.
Compose your own musical masterpiece using colors and shapes, which our musicians will perform on the spot!
Create your own “beats” with our analog synthesizers.
Family Music Creation will be held in the community area on the first floor of the Stanley Marketplace.
Want more? The Playground Ensemble will perform a string quartet concert at 2:30 p.m., featuring an eclectic program featuring works by Gabriela Ortiz, Raven Chacon, and Caroline Shaw.
