Families are invited to join in creative play during Color, Shape, Sound, a fun, FREE event featuring The Playground Ensemble is set for Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Stanley Marketplace in Aurora. Kids can make a kazoo, create music, be a conductor and visit the instrument petting zoo. No reservations are necessary.
During the event:
Make your own kazoos – we’ll have supplies and show you how.
Compose your own musical masterpiece using colors and shapes, which our musicians will perform on the spot!
Be a conductor – lead our musicians using easy “Soundpainting” hand-gestures.
Visit our instrument petting zoo to try out string instruments, compliments of Luther Strings.
Color, Shape, Sound will be held in the community area on the first floor of the Stanley Marketplace.
