The Civic Center Conservancy has announced a new performance series that will feature the talents of various organizations across Denver, including local comedians, Rob The Art Museum, The Biennial of The Americas, Ms. Black Colorado and more! Mark your calendars — the Greek Ampitheatre will host live performances on the evenings of September 15, 17, 22, 25 & 27, all part of Civic Center LIVE.

There are two FREE events and three that require a ticket purchase. All events need a reservation. Learn more here. Ticket sales are limited to 150 per show, so get yours soon!

Tight on money but want to see one of the shows? Consider volunteering. Civic Center LIVE organizers are seeking volunteers to assist staff on the night of the shows. Contact Amanda Johnson if you’d like to help.

Here’s the Civic Center LIVE schedule.

Tuesday Night Comedy

Tuesday, Sept. 15 | 6:30 – 8:00 pm

The Denver Comedy Lounge brings national-touring Denver comedians to perform stand-up comedy in Civic Center Park. It’s a show loaded with headlining comics who will bring laughter and joy to this 90-minute event.

Grab your lawn chair, bring some food/beverages and get ready to be entertained by some of the Mile High City’s best.

The show is hosted by Chris Voth and features Geoff Tice, Shanae Ross, Nora Lynch, Noe Noel, Phil Palisoul, Nancy Norton and Sam Tallent.

Tickets are $15. Purchase here.

Biennial Night at Civic Center

Thursday, Sept. 17 | 6:00 – 8:00 pm

Join the Biennial of the Americas for an outdoor concert featuring Ecuadorian indie-pop sensation Neoma. Neoma has captivated music lovers all over the world with her dreamy yet energetic “Lunar Pop” hits.

In 2017, Neoma hit the top of the Ecuadorian charts with her infectious single “Real.” Since then, she’s played concerts to thousands of fans throughout the Americas. In 2018, Neoma (Carla Huiracocha) relocated from Cuenca, Ecuador to Denver, along with producer/bassist Danny Pauta to focus on her music career.

In June 2019, Neoma released “Young,” her first single as a resident of Denver. Her debut album, “Real,” was released in November 2019.

FREE. Reserve your ticket here.

Let’s celebrate the newly crowned Ms. Black Colorado with a night “Under the Stars!” Emma Dickson will be using her reign to support mental health, address food deserts in Colorado communities and promote healthy eating & lifestyles.

During this event, live music will be provided by Colorado independent artists like SuCh, Mandy Groves, Adiel Mitchell, DJ Cavem and more. The night will also feature THE DROP radio on-air personalities and DJs, giveaways and more.

Canned goods will be collected at this event in support of local food banks. Prepare yourself for a mellow, neo-soul, music-upgraded happy hour.

Black Love Mural Festival After Party

Saturday, Sept. 26 | 5:00 – 10:00 pm

The Greek Ampitheatre will be alive with immersive lights and projections, as well as the CRUSH Walls Art Pyramids to highlight local R&B and Hip-Hop artists. The open-air concert will be the intersection of both art and music, intertwined as complementary forms of expression.
