Here’s a way to warm up a chilly evening — a chili cook-off. Hosted by Aurora Public Libraries, this FREE event is Thursday, January 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Peak to Peak Tap & Brew. For cooks, it’s a chance to show off your finest chili recipe and win great prizes. All chili styles welcome. For chili connoisseurs, you can taste some great chili while you enjoy great craft beer.
Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. with judging at 7 p.m. There is no entry fee. For entrants:
Bring your chili in a slow cooker, hot and ready to serve. Bring a serving spoon as well.
Peak will provide bowls, tasting spoons and napkins.
Winner will be determined by secret ballot.
Voters will be any brewery guests present who wish to participate.
Prizes include Peak to Peak gift cards, free growler fills for a year, free 32 oz crowler and library swag. 9735 E. Colfax Ave., Aurora.
