Some Colorado cities host one party to celebrate summer, but Aurora is taking it to the max with eight (count ’em, eight) Summer in the City events. The “tour” is designed as a way to get kids outside this summer and runs from Friday, June 1 through Wednesday, August 1. Each event offers FREE snacks, inflatables, board and field games, a chance to try golfing, arts & crafts and more.
Consider it one-stop shopping to learn all about programs offered by Aurora’s Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department. Summer in the City runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Here’s the schedule with locations:
