Like many communities, Broomfield is finding a way to stage it’s otherwise canceled annual summer festivals. It’s solution: Summer Saturday Drive-thru’s coordinated by the Broomfield Council on the Arts and Humanities with the help of local groups and entities. Each month, you can sign-up online for a themed Drive-Thru Event. The final FREE event is Saturday, August 15 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Community Park Road across from the Broomfield Library.
The event is limited to the first 500 cars that sign up. You must reserve a time slot. To do so, please sign-up here.
Live music by the flute trio of the Broomfield Symphony Orchestra, Taiko with Toni drumming group, and a rocking show from Broomfield’s School of Rock band will be featured.
Live performances by Dance Arts Studio, Boulder Ballet dancer and a traditional East Indian dance from a performance group of the Colorado Fine Arts Association should keep everyone entertained.
You can also view 2D and 3D art with pieces by local artists, a COVIDodo bird sculpture and a Japanese artifact display with kimonos courtesy of Broomfield Sister City program.
More musicians, performance groups, and art are being added each day, so sign up your car today and experience the last of these local, creative drive-thru’s before the summer series is complete.
