Boulder’s Newlands neighborhood hosts two afternoons of Junkengruven, where anyone can pick up unwanted items of all sorts, including some real treasures. It takes place Saturday and Sunday, August 24 and 25 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. both days. It’s like a neighborhood garage sale without the sale part, since everything is FREE for the taking. Newlands is in West Boulder, between Broadway and Third St., and between Alpine and Iris.
