Big Lots is celebrating the opening of its new locations in a big way. Full disclosure, we’re a little confused about this “Grand Opening” promo because we don’t know where and how many new stores are opening in the Denver.
However, our investigative team (Bryan and his cat Riley!) noticed it seems to be more of a Grand Re-Opening celebration for all Denver area locations, based on its website’s store locator system — click here for more details. (The only location not participating is the one in Longmont, as there’s no notation of “Re-Grand Opening 7/27.”)
To mark the big changes, on Friday, July 27, the discount chain is giving away a reusable Big Lots shopping bag filled with goodies to the first 100 customers at every Denver area location. All locations open at 9 a.m. As always, if you’re unsure about a location’s participation, please call ahead.
We’re also seeing a promo ad that states the giveaway is for the first 50 customers each day on Friday, July 27 and Saturday, July 28. Big Lots needs to be more clear in its marketing because we’re even more confused now.
