There will be a dedication and official ribbon cutting of the “Bergman Barn Heritage Site” honoring pioneers and homesteaders in Colorado eastern plains on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Bergman’s, who built this barn in the early 1900’s, cared for the land for three generations. Barr Lake State Park has now restored the barn to honor their story.
