We can’t think of a better way to spend a day than roaming among thousands of bargain-priced items, including jewelry, collectibles, vintage odds & ends, toys, books, rare finds and a vast array of household items — all for a good cause. If you count yourself a true-blue “junker,” then stop by the Beautiful Junk Sale on Friday & Saturday, September 17 & 18 at the Lakewood United Methodist Church.
This is the same event that used to take place at the Jeffco Fairgrounds and we promised you’ll still find all the bargains and deals at it’s new location.
The sale is open Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission for adults is a BOGO. Pay $5 for a ticket and get a second admission for FREE. Admission is also FREE for children and teens (16 and under.) Cash only at the gate.
For those who just can’t wait to get in the doors, an early-bird sale begins at 7 a.m. on Friday morning and early-bird admission is $30. Early Bird Shoppers get in free on Saturday.
Cash, credit cards, and checks accepted at the checkout line.
In addition, the Action Center invites all members of the community to a Block Party on Saturday, September 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside the Church. The FREE event features dancing, a dunk tank, bounce houses, food trucks and kids activities.
All proceeds (100%) from the Junk Sale benefit The Action Center, which helps residents in need or those experiencing homelessness.
Lakewood United Methodist Church is at 1390 Brentwood St., Lakewood.
