Climbing and Mile High City culture will meet at BASECAMP Exchange on Saturday, August 15, 2026, for a day to celebrate adventure film, movement and outdoor gear. During this FREE event, guests will be able to freely move between the three screening spaces at BASECAMP Market Station and discover a diverse lineup of 30+ films celebrating adventure, exploration, and the evolving voices shaping outdoor storytelling.

Basecamp Exchange will be held from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The 2026 event will feature three immersive film galleries with bespoke screening takeovers led by:
- Matchstick Productions – the world’s most awarded ski film brand from Crested Butte
- Roo Smith – a Boulder-based Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker specializing in adventure storytelling
- The Female Filmmaker Showcase – presented by Denver’s Great Escape Media x Lindsey Hagen, an Oscar-qualified director and producer
Attendees will also have opportunities to participate in Q&A sessions with athletes, filmmakers, and industry leaders throughout the day.
The Fireside Chat with participating studio leaders is set for the Paseo Stage from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Throughout the day, attendees can explore a curated pop-up marketplace featuring lifestyle brands, as well as exclusive in-store specials from participating BASECAMP retailers.
The music lineup for the afternoon includes:
- Michael Cecere – 12:30 p.m.
- KelLee Carlile – 2 p.m.
- Sturtz – 3:30 p.m.
Food options such as Taco Nation, Gyros King and Polar Bros. Nitro Ice Cream, along with a pop-up bar will be available on-site, with beverage proceeds benefiting nonprofit partner Adaptive Sports Center, helping expand access to outdoor recreation for individuals with disabilities.
The event is free and open to all, but advanced registration is suggested.
