Talk about a blast from our childhood past. If you love Barbie (and Ken and Skipper and Francie, and you actually know who all these characters are), this one’s for you. The Barbie Pop-Up Truck makes its first-ever visit to Denver on Saturday, September 5. From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the hot-pink shop on wheels will be parked at Park Meadows Shopping Center at the Vistas (that’s the open-air “back” part of the mall).
The Barbie Totally Throwback Tour brings exclusive retro-inspired merchandise and treats as part of its U.S. tour to celebrate the iconic brand’s 60-year heritage.
The truck will sell exclusive 90s-themed apparel and accessories including:
Embroidered denim jackets
Iridescent vinyl “boombox” tote bags
Iridescent vinyl fanny packs
“Cassette tape” wallets
There will also be a new collectible Barbie Polaroid camera in limited quantities.
The Barbie Totally Throwback Tour is from the same people who brought the Hello Kitty Cafe is town last weekend.
