Aurora Rhythms: Free Monthly Concert Series at Local Libraries

Aurora Rhythms, the city’s FREE season of music serves up a wide variety of musical styles from bluegrass to Afro pop every month on Tuesday nights starting at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a live performance of a different genre each month at an Aurora Public Library. Refreshments and activities for children will also be provided.

Here’s the Aurora Rhythms 2022 schedule:

Tuesday, June 21, 6:30 p.m., Aurora Central Library
Micro Grass Band (acoustic Bluegrass & Cajun)
Pre-show performance by Aurora Dance Arts at 5:45 p.m.

Tuesday, July 12, 6:30 p.m., Tallyn’s Reach Library
The Constant Tourists (Gypsy Rock) 
Pre-show performance by AuroraDance Arts at 5:45 p.m.

Tuesday, August 2, 6:30 p.m., Aurora Central Library
The Low Flying Knobs (Marimba Afro-pop)

    Are the Aurora Rhythms concerts being held inside the libraries or outside? Do we need to bring our own lawn chairs? Can we bring a picnic dinner to enjoy during the concert? Will there be food trucks there?

    Norma – It doesn’t say on the event website. I suggest you contact the specific library to learn if concerts are outside (most likely) or inside. — Laura
