Working with the City of Thornton, Tri-County Health Department, Lulu’s Farm and Miller Farms, Anythink hosts a weekly farmer’s market at its Anythink Huron Street location. Held on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October 8, these markets are an opportunity for all community members to gather for and shop the wide variety of farm-fresh produce available.
This year, Anythink is adding a second market every Thursday starting July 11 through October 10 from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Anythink Wright Farms.
In addition to food, community members will discover cooking demos, recipes, as well as nutrition and wellness information. On select dates, preventative health screen services will also be available for attendees.
This series of markets creates an opportunity to make healthy, fresh produce options accessible and affordable to all in the community.
For those in need of transportation assistance, RTD vouchers are available via the Tri-County Health Department booth, where community members can also access information about eWIC and SNAP services. Coupons are available for those who participate in eWIC or SNAP.
