The neighborhood gathering is organized in alignment with the America 250 – Colorado 150 statewide anniversaries, branded locally as Colorado’s “Sesquisemiquincentennial”. The goal is to bring people together to pause and reflect on the shared history of what makes our nation unique and special.
The event features a high-brightness LED screen, allowing the screening to begin at 6 p.m.
Families are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnics to enjoy the show in a comfortable, community-focused setting.
Admission is FREE. However, attendees are encouraged to register for the event here.
The event is part of the broader mission of Alameda Connects and the ACBID, an organization dedicated to the revitalization and enhancement of the Alameda Corridor in Lakewood, Colorado.
Through initiatives such as beautification efforts, public safety programs, special events and marketing campaigns, the organization continues to boost the area’s economic vitality and attractiveness.
