Tulips are the signature flower for spring and the perfect gift for Mother’s Day. It’s rare to find a great deal on them this time of year. That’s why we’re highlighting this sale from Whole Foods Market. Through Tuesday, May 16, they’re selling a 20-stem bunch of tulips for just $15. (That makes each stem just 75¢!) You’re not going to find a much better deal around town. The sale is available at all Colorado stores, while supplies last. If you’re in a hurry, the floral department will happily wrap your tulips at no additional charge. (Roses and orchids are also on sale for $13/dozen and $15, respectively.)
If you really want to make an impression, go to a dollar store or thrift shop for an inexpensive vase. Then, wrap some colorful ribbon (just pull some from your holiday wrap & trimmings in storage) around it and you’re ready to go! You might even consider buying two bunches for $30 for a big “wow factor.” There’s no doubt your Mom is worth it.
